Strategy development
A Story of Success
Developing a strategy to maximise use and access to the Gold Coast's famous beaches and ensure funding into the future was a great success. There had been two previous attempts to get a strategy in place before we helped get the project over the line. We were able to understand the issues and drivers for the strategy and how to move things forward. Today, the business area has the direction and funding they need, and we’re proud to have been part of the process. The Ocean Beaches Strategy went on to win an industry award.
Libraries Business Plan
Turning a New Page
This project was assisting with a review of a library service and developing a three year business plan. By facilitating the business planning process this business area created much needed direction, strategic outcomes and KPIs to guide priorities into the future. This plan was the first plan to have outcomes and measures in place for this
Project Framework
AÂ Simple Solution
Implementing a project governance framework turned out to require a simple solution. A capital works framework had been developed in another business unit and was adapted and simplified to meet the needs of this business area. Not reinventing the wheel but refining an existing solution can be a cost effective, efficient way to solve a problem.
Legislation change
People, process and technology updated
Understanding the impacts of changing legislation and using change management techniques were critical the success of this project. Helping train staff and successfully prepare the business to comply with new legislation were key outcomes of this project.
